Assembly and inspection

Check your build requirements.

PCB assembly range

Boards from 70 × 50 mm (2.7 × 2 in) through 1,480 × 510 mm (58.3 × 20.1 in), with thicknesses from 0.4–6.0 mm. Double-sided SMT supports prototypes through medium volume.

Placement covers 01005 components through large connectors and odd-form parts, including BGA, QFN, QFP, CSP, SOIC, TSOP, PLCC, and leaded packages.

Inspection and cable testing

Automated optical inspection: AOI checks missing, incorrect, shifted, and polarity-sensitive components, plus solder-joint defects. The documented inspection envelope is 50 × 60 mm to 400 × 320 mm. This is narrower than the assembly range; include inspection requirements when submitting larger boards.

Cirris cable and harness testing: continuity, pinout, wiring accuracy, opens, shorts, miswires, crossed conductors, and contact resistance. Pass/fail traceability and reports are available upon request.

Program and order-size fit

Kelytech is set up for high-mix prototype and repeat-production programs. Typical quantities are 1–50; builds of 51–250 are evaluated by build difficulty and required turnaround.

Programs are strongest in communications, industrial automation, industrial RF, and robotics.

Common questions

Planning your RFQ.

Can Kelytech handle the boards, cables, and final enclosure together?

Yes. Kelytech coordinates PCB assembly, cable and harness assembly, and box build through one Silicon Valley team. Share the requirements for the complete assembly so the team can review material needs, interconnections, inspection, and shipment together.

How quickly does Kelytech respond to an RFQ?

Consignment RFQs typically receive an initial response in under 24 hours. Turnkey RFQs requiring sourcing typically receive an initial response in 24–48 hours; hard-to-find parts may take longer. These are response times, not manufacturing lead times. Include your target delivery date for review.

What should I send for a quote?

Send the available BOM, Gerber files, assembly drawings, or project summary, plus the quantity for this build and target delivery date. Note whether you will supply components or need sourcing. Include inspection and test requirements so Kelytech can evaluate the scope. The RFQ form is encrypted in transit and stores files privately. Contact Kelytech before sending restricted or export-controlled material.

Do I need to be located in the Bay Area?

Kelytech is located in Silicon Valley and primarily serves the San Francisco Bay Area, while supporting customers elsewhere in the United States when the program is a fit.
